Bottega is a small, neighborhood-focused café tucked into the Mueller area of Austin, offering a casual spot for coffee lovers and light bites. With just a handful of seats inside and a patio that gives off a relaxed, Parisian vibe, it’s a place where locals swing by for a well-crafted espresso or a quiet moment with a cappuccino in hand. The atmosphere feels lived-in and welcoming, a natural extension of the surrounding streets rather than a polished coffee chain.

Visitors come here looking for quality coffee and simple treats like gelato, cinnamon rolls, and the local favorite, klobasnek—a nod to Texas’s Czech heritage that sets it apart from your typical coffee shop fare. The menu leans interestingly into both traditional and creative drinks, including noteworthy options like the seasonal pecan pie latte, raw cacao lattes, and a blueberry latte accented with housemade basil syrup. Those who appreciate inventive coffee combinations will find enough variety to revisit without getting bored.

During the day, Bottega serves as a hub for morning routines and casual meet-ups. It’s especially good for anyone who values fast, reliable Wi-Fi and a quiet nook to work or unwind—though the space is on the cozy side, so bigger groups or those wanting to linger might find it a bit cramped once busy. The outdoor patio is a nice alternative on sunny days, offering street views and enough breathing room to enjoy a pastry and coffee without feeling rushed.

Local regulars clearly enjoy the friendly, approachable staff and the occasional special events held in the expanded space next door, which hints at the café’s community spirit beyond just the coffee counter. For those in Mueller looking to step away from larger, busier chains, Bottega offers an unpretentious, thoughtfully curated coffee experience that fits smoothly into a laid-back Austin day.

Cute little Window-service coffee shop with a small interior. Patio is very Paris-cafe feeling. Lots of tasty treats to order as well.

It’s cute here, small customer space (9 chairs) of mostly bar seating facing this lived-in kitchen. Matcha latte tastes high quality but kinda watery, and the blueberry ice cream had coconut flakes in it (I can’t stand the texture of coconut flakes) but a true blueberry flavor. I do love the chill neighborhood vibes and am grateful for the ridiculously fast wifi!

This is a cute cafe. When I went most of the pastries were gone, but there is a major event in town nearby. I did get to try the banana bread, and it was excellent. The matcha was really good too. We had a hot chocolate too and it was okay. I wash it was a bit thicker and sweeter. It was still good though. It is small, so if they got busy you probably won't be able to dine in.

My new favorite coffee shop in Austin! Bottega absolutely nails it every single time. The sandwiches are honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere - super fresh, really thoughtfully made, and way more delicious than a “coffee shop sandwich” has any right to be. And the seasonal pecan pie latte? Unreal. It comes with a tiny pecan pie tart on the side and it’s the cutest, most perfect little touch. It feels like a small luxury moment in the middle of the day. The space is gorgeous, the staff is genuinely kind, and everything they serve feels crafted with so much care. If you haven’t been yet, go. This place is a gem.

Bottega is hands-down one of my favorite cafes around Mueller - I'm in here almost every day. The staff are all awesome people and the owner, Katie, is great! They've expanded into the space next door so there is more room for indoor seating and they're hosting more and more fun events there as well. Definitely check it out if you need a cappuccino or other tasty drink. They've also got breakfast sandwiches, soups, and pastries

My favorite neighborhood place! I love how perfectly tucked into the streets it is, it’s the perfect neighborhood gem. My favorite is their iced lattes with house made syrup and the Brekky sandwich. All the staff is so sweet and friendly as well.

Loved this place! I was passing by and decided to give it a try - it was quick, efficient, and well worth it. The Italian sandwich was the best I’ve had in a while, and my Iced Americano with Oat Milk was perfectly made! My only feedback is that I wish there was an option to remove the cheese from the sandwiches before heating them up, but my experience was otherwise great.
